Add Bonuses To Your Affiliate Promotions To Lift Your Conversion Rates

Savvy affiliates know that they must compete with other affiliates to get the sale. One of the more popular strategies used to convert a visitor is to offer a bonus as incentive for using the affiliate’s merchant link to make the purchase. But how effective is the method, and how difficult is it to implement?

Well, it certainly requires some work from you if you want to include bonuses in your affiliate promotions. But it usually proves effective. The goal, after all, is to stop the prospect in their tracks and cease their ongoing search for additional information about the product, or a higher-value bonus offer. If your bonus is sufficiently arresting, then you will succeed at this.

But there will always be a tradeoff – the better the bonus you offer, the higher the cost to you to create it in the first place, even if it is just a digital offering. After all, someone has to do the research to create it (maybe you).

Jeff Czyzewski has addressed the problems faced by affiliates who wish to include bonuses in their promotions. His product is known as ClickBank Bonus Domination. In addition to providing a model for bonus creation, his package includes software that can send bonuses to customers automatically. It can also be used to automatically add the customer to your auto responder service.

Clearly Jeff would not have gone to the trouble of creating a product like this if he did not believe that affiliates would find it highly useful. In all likelihood, I believe they will. This is based on my own experience with bonuses and affiliate promotions.

In fact, on each of my web sites which are dedicated to the promotion of a single affiliate marketing product, like on my ClickBank Bonus Domination review page, I use bonuses to sweeten the deal.

I do this for a very good reason. With affiliate marketing offerings in particular, it is very difficult to get a prospect to buy through your affiliate link. After all, the person in all probability is an affiliate themselves, and their natural inclination would be to save themselves some money and purchase the product through their own affiliate link.

So the incorporation of bonus incentives is almost a requirement in this case. This is why, when a product launch takes place and the product targets affiliates, you’ll see an abundance of promotions with offers of what appear to be massive bonuses. However, it is often the case that these bonuses are exaggerated more than the actual product that is being promoted, and the worth of the bonuses is usually far less than indicated.

Well, knowledgable affiliates will see right through that. So if you ARE to offer bonuses as an incentive, you must ensure that it really is a compelling one.

One method for doing this effectively is to generate a special report that supplements the product that you are promoting. For example, if the product is a course on PPC marketing, you might use your own experience as a PPC marketer to create a special report about how to write ads which tend to stand out, and therefore have super high conversions.

You might entitle your report “Ten Efficient Ad Strategies To Skyrocket Your Conversions”. If you also offer proof that your methods work, you have just provided the prospect with a compelling reason to buy through your link. Especially if your bonus report is exclusive, and can only be obtained from you.

If you would like to learn more about how you can devise your own bonus offerings, visit my own ClickBank Bonus Domination bonus page, where you will be given a chance to find out how I am utilizing this very strategy to promote Jeff Czyzewski’s product.

It is also worth bearing in mind that when the bonus strategy is used in the promotion of non affiliate marketing related products, which draw potential customers who have no knowledge of affiliate links, the conversion rates can be improved a great deal.
