Youtube, Vimeo and Viddler

If you are using Viddler for personal use it is free of charge however, if you are using it for business purposes it is necessary to create a business account which requires you to pay a fee. Viddler also offers what is called a partner program for those who are seeking videos that contain high quality content.

One of the advantages to using Viddler is that there is a larger limit to the length of your video. Where YouTube limits you to 10 minutes or 100MB, Viddler offers a large limit of 500 MB. You can also add your business logo in the corner of your videos that you offer on Viddler that will help you to stand out from the competition. The website is relatively new and has a visitor count of approximately one million visitors per month and growing.

Vimeo

Vimeo is another networking site that accommodates the sharing and uploading of videos and allows user commenting on the different videos that are offered on the site. Although it is relatively new to the video marketing concept it is becoming a rapidly growing online community of people who want to share videos.

Vimeo offers the opportunity for high definition video sharing and the goals and objectives of the site are to offer higher quality videos than some of the other video sharing sites. If you become a member you can store up to 2GB worth of high definition video each week and you can offer personal videos as well as videos that are related to the area of expertise for your business.

Although Vimeo is not as well known as some of the other online video sites it is definitely worth keeping an eye on its progress mainly due to the opportunity to offer your videos in high definition quality.vimeo
